Can a small RCA camcorder record my voice if im whispering?

If i am sitting 3 ish ft away from one of those small RCA camcorders with the really tiny screen, could it pick up my voice even if i’m whispering? The camcorder doesn’t have the flip screen or anythinge, just a small screen.
